So, if I've counted correctly, I've done 63 of these, I'm interested in or will do another 13, and have no interest in 24 of them. Which I guess means I've done quite a lot of things in my current 3 years of knitting, since before 2004 I only made 2 sweaters and some scarves and hats. I can think of all sorts of other things to add to this list, but I only added one: teaching a woman to knit.

For real insight into what we knitters do and what we like to do, visit the polls at Knitters' Review, and Clara Parkes' compilation, "The Anatomy of a Knitter, As Revealed in the KR Polls".

The alphbetical order does make this easier to read. Thanks! I may even get around to doing it myself. "Grafitti Knitting" is new to me, but sounds interestingly subersive. I'm not sure what "Olympic" knitting is, all I can think of are those great Dale of Norway sweaters, but presumable that would fall under Norwegian knitting....

I took the 'Olympic' knitting to be participation in the Yarn Harlot's giant KAL last February. 'Graffiti' knitting is just another thing that I don't understand ('grok' is a better word); why leave bits of knitting strewn about the sidewalks? Well, on purpose, I mean.

It would be interesting to keep this and look back in a year. Two years ago I would never have thought I'd have 3 knitting machines. 10 years ago, I never thought I'd learn to knit socks!

That's something I would do - alphabetize it, I mean. I may have to do this meme, even though I said I won't do any more!

I'm glad someone did the alphabetizing, and although I swore off more memes, this one is interesting, and may yet make an appearance Chez Karin. I hope your kitty is feeling better, it's such a worry when they aren't
